Do you know what your child’s dream holiday is? Our friends at Jet2 Holidays do!

We think it’s fair to say that children often have little say in the family holiday? Our friends over at Jet2 Holidays thought they’d research what children really want whilst on holiday, from accommodation to activities, to help parents choose the best holiday to make the best family memories.

After speaking to over 1,000 children on holiday, aged 7 to 13, it’s fair to say that they’re imagination ran wild, creativity was in full flow but, we must admit, if this is possible, it would be pretty cool! Ideally, children would have a space or under the sea themed hotel with awesome theme park rides, loads of sweets, a private beach and zoo animals. (The animals don’t need to be on the bear! We bet that Polar Bear was happy with that….)

Although hotels can’t always be completely personalized, activities you choose to do can be; two-thirds of children love exploring on holidays, and spending time in the water was a big hit too.  Lots of parents use their holidays to kick back and relax, but it  turns out kids want the opposite; nearly half surveyed wished their parents would spend more time with them when on holiday, from playing games to going on adventures.

Good old Jet2 Holidays even did a clever mock up of what the hotel would look like, we think you’ll agree, it looks pretty cool!
